The terracotta panels for the cladding of the Stories complex facades on Mosfilmovskaya Street are being prepared for shipment
In the near future, 15,000 square meters of terracotta panels are to be delivered to the construction site from China. The OCTOBER GROUP’s representative personally oversees the manufacturing and inspects its every stage on a daily basis.
The panels are manufactured by Panelket China’s largest ceramics factory in Yixing. To make custom-design lamellas, an extrusion mold has to be made first. Test production samples are used by the engineer to assess the quality of the mold and make adjustments where necessary.
After the panels are made, a QA expert inspects them for any cracks or defects. The packaging materials for finished products are checked for strength and safety and only after the check the panels are prepared for shipping.
Terracotta is a natural, environmentally friendly, good-looking and long-lasting material. Careful day-to-day quality control during the manufacture of ceramic panels makes sure that the facades for the Stories complex on Mosfilmovskaya Street will look like new for many years, keeping the residents inside warm and comfortable.
